In Memory of my mom Donna L. Brooks (Laura Ann Rose)

In Memory of my mom Donna L. Brooks in the SCA known for her as Laura Ann Rose.  My mom was a wonderful woman who raised me. She really loved me with all of her heart. We where in the SCA the Middle Ages group been doing for a long time. Those where some of the things she loves doing. She was a bared. Did Archery and Falconry same with my dad. Brings the birds of pray to events to show and talk about them her favorite bird of pray was a Kistrel. She also was in to fantasy mostly with dragons in it. She was battling cancer. All ready spared to her lungs and we thought she was going to get better and it got worst. The last big event she went to was Gulf Wars down in Mississippi. Doctor's clam she had 9 months to live. Only week later from now that she had pass away. Right after when they took her home from the Hospital she was about to be on Hospice care. She had lost the battle of cancer. But her memory and love well live on.

In Memery of are cat Sophie.



This post is a Memorial to are Siamese Cat Sophie.

 



 

A bit about Sophie she was are cat who we got as a recue animal from a Young couple at Apartment that was left from the previse owners. Sophie been a really lovely cat. Frist time when we got her taking her home when she was meowing! Talking like Cartman from South Park saying "No Kitty not having my Pot Pie". Had her back in 2010. She been coming downstairs with me wanted to be petted coming up on my lap. Sleeping with me a thaw times. Did creep me out when we did not had her long ago where she was meowing late in the night fowling me when I was using the bathroom was something like from Stephen King and R.L. Stine. Had put it on my Facebook status in the morning. Their are times I did like having her around to keep me company. Also times she dose annoyed me always wanting in and out. She keeps Moawing until she gets what she wants. Moaws by the basement window for while she hit her head until I lit her in. Still always like having her around to keep me company something to pet.  Even would like to have her around right now since with the things that we are dealing with. Last Sunday from now we found her dead in the backyard she must had ate something poison that's what I probably know. She is gone now.

We had Sophie from 2010 to 2016. She was already a grown cat when we got her. R.I.P. to are cat Sophie!

Independent Food Critic: ZAXBY'S

This is the first review of the month of April. Today from now went threw drive threw Zaxby's over at the speedway over by Legends in Kansas City, Ks. Zaxby's is a southern chicken place. I had their wings and things. It was one of the one's on popular on the menu served with fries and toast. The wings weren't really good I had BBQ ones they did not had much meat over cooked I don't recommend them. The things mostly like chicken strips where OK pretty bland better then the wings. They seem a bit over cooked. Zaxby's is OK not really that good some place if you want some chicken. For Zaxby's 1 out of 5 I give it a 2 out of 5. Well be going more reviews soon. For now keep on eating!

Independent Food Critic: Hooters Stuffed Burger

This is the review for the month on March from now. It is on a thing I had at this place to review on. Today was at the Hooters over by Legends in Kansas City, Ks. Where I had one of the Stuffed Burgers from their. One of the things they have a limited time. The Stuff burger spouse to have cheese stuffed in it. One I got did not really had much cheese stuffed in it. Just like a normal burger. Not really that bad. Hooters have pretty good burgers their. Since this was a limited time won't be able to get it again. Might as well get their other burgers their instead. Dose not look any thing like in it's pitcher where it is full of cheese inside. Not really bad burger since it did not had much cheese in it. 1 out of 5 I give it a 2 out of 5. Well be doing more reviews soon. For Now keep on eating!

Independent Food Critc: Thirsty Thursday SURGE

Have not did a Thirsty Thursday in a long time where I share something I drink. About Surge it is a originated in Norway where it was called Urge. Was out in the late 90's from Coca Cola to compete with Pepsi that had Mt. Dew. It had a Interesting St. Patty's day green way more caffeine then Mt. Dew. TV ads for this had races with obstacle's try to grab on can and bottle of this stuff. Some where in the early 2000's this stuff got discontinued. Had web pages to bring Surge back. Besides that Coca Cola has Mellow Yellow for a long time another version that is like Mt. Dew that no one drinks. Amazon had a limited time having this back. Notice a week ago Wal-Mart over at the Speedway by Legends in Kansas City, Ks had this probably for a limited time? In the KC area before St. Patty's day. Drinking it had a citrus taste like what Vault had. Another soda from Coca Cola that is like Surge that was in the 2000's got discontinued. Not really know if this was around for long right now. Something that I drank back when I was a child in the late 90's. Well be doing more post's soon for now Keep on viewing!

SCA Event: Gulf Wars 2016 A.D.

This is my 2nd year at Gulf Wars this year. The first SCA Event of this year from now did not got to go to 12th Night this year because of my mom was back in the Hospital that week. Gulf Wars did alright that my mom still showed up could not do much because of her cancer in her lungs. Got to go back to New Orleans when we came back a storm came knock part of my tent. Only got a threw things wet nothing broken. Thanks to are friends that help me set up my tent back up. Got some pitcher from the event.
