History of Steampunk

This post is a bit my way of telling the history of steampunk in away I know best that is evolve with real life things that lead to the use of the idea of steampunk and fiction as will in books, Movies and TV that had the idea of steampunk. All the way back when it was before they use the term steampunk in the Renaissance where a Italian artiest name Leonardo Da Vinci who came up with a flying machine and other ideas century's before we have them today in real life. He was known as the man who is head of his times. While in the 1780's in France that the Montgoifier brothers had invented the first hot air balloon. While in England during the late 18th and 19th century it was the Industrial Revolution where they had made improvements on farming equipment. James Watt that he had improved on the steam engine that what uses in Factory's, Steam boats and in trains that became the big transportation during most of the 19th century. That steam power is what they have with advance machines in steampunk. During the early 19th century that the writer Mary Shelley who wrote Frankenstein that she took the haunting's of her past and the idea of bring someone back to life with electricity. She got that idea doing that time when scientist where experimenting with lighting by bring frogs back to life. The novel Frankenstein was the one that started the Sci-Fi genera. Jules Verne the French writer that who had expanded the Sci-Fi genera by writing story's with Space travel to the moon. Submarines going to the far deeps of the sea and also flight travel long before we had those things. With the air travel that a German Ferdinand Zeppelin had invented the Zeppelin a large frame blimp for air travel that is what they took a wider shape of the hot air balloon. Where it was use in the military and later as air travel. Mostly use a zippelin in steampunk or any type of airship of some kind and the same with alternate universe. During the late 19th Century that a English Sci-Fi author name H.G. Wells had wrote the novel The Time Machine in 1895 where it is about a Scientist from the Victorian era that he has a machine that he travels in Time with that he goes into the future. Mostly time travel becomes a big thing in Sci-Fi. That H.G. Wells had wrote The War of the Worlds where aliens from Mares that invade Earth by using tripods that had more advance technology then a person on Earth had. Also had wrote a short story on airplanes in War 6 years before World War 1. The film projector that was took and credited by Thomas Edison the same with all of the inventions he took. That created movies where in 1902 that during the rise of movies during the silent film area that the movie A trip to the Moon came out where about a group of men traveling to the moon and it was a bit based on Jules Verne's novel From the Earth to the Moon and H.G. Wells The First Men in the Moon. In 1927 that Metropolis came out where it was away they had vision the future that men where working under grand by keeping the city powered and get replace by robots. During in 1903 that The Wright Brothers that they are credited with the first motorized airplane. Mostly threw the 20th Century that technology had improved by powering up are homes with electricity and Traveling by automobiles. During World War 1 that the airplane had made improvements as a flying weapon for war. Also tanks that came along as well. During World War 2 that the airplanes had made even more improvements and the same with all of the technology that the atom bomb had drop in 1945. Mostly in the 1950's that with the invention of Television that mostly western shows where popular during that time all the way to the 1960's and the same with in movies. Mostly during in the 1960's with the cold war going on that spy shows and movies where in during that time western shows where dying out that the TV series The Wild Wild West where it was a spy show that took place in the old west with two government secret service agents that uses some gadgets. Probably was the first Sci-fi western. In 1969 that man had landed on the moon where that was something Jules Verne had written about long before it became real life. During the 1980's that Steampunk was form that was in a alternate 19th century where it has advance machines that power on steam power. Took from off of the Cyber Punk sub genre that was a modern way how they version the future. Mostly over the years that Steampunk had uses in a few books and movies that in 1999 that the movie Version of Wild Wild West that was based on the TV series in the 1960's where it had even more advance steam power machines such as a giant power steam tarantula that the main villain drives the same that uses a steam power wheelchair. Mostly Disney had did some things with Steampunk that they came out with the move version 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea in 1954 that was based from a novel by Jules Verne it was attraction at Disney World had use the Jules Verne theme as the Future in Tomorrowland at Disney parks. Had did the movies Atlantes and Treasure planet that came out in the early 2000's. Also Another movie version of The Time Machine had came out in the early 2000's did not did to well and that was also the same with Wild Wild West in 1999. Also about 40 years back had a movie version of The Time Machine from the 2002 version of it. Mostly Steampunk had became main stream now in the 2010's with having conventions, Fairs and even doing them at Renaissance Fairs now. Mostly with Steampunk that it uses the ideas of what Jules Verne, H.G. Wells the only Sci-Fi authors that they how version the future that time by making a alternate time period with those things as well. Mostly that they been taking things from popular cutler such as Star Wars and Doctor Who giving them a Steampunk look. Mostly with steampunk uses the colors brown, gold, black, bronze and copper with using gears as well. That with Steampunk where it takes today's and futuristic technology that make it look old fashion. Mostly the reason why steampunk is popular now mostly with technology now is more advance that has away to make it use in another time period in a alternate way in History. Mostly with steampunk is not really the easy thing to explained about that you got to get into it your self to understand it. Where it is alternate 19th Century with Victorian or the Old West by having steam advance steam power machines and other things that is like old fashion with a modern way. Also gose good with the goth look as well. Mostly the history with Steampunk that this was a long blog I did by my knowledge and research on it with the things in History and the thing with fiction that lead to the idea of the form of it. Maybe it is not the best way but it was something that I did my best on by writing it that those old fashion machines that run on steam power during in the 19th century would make the idea of steampunk the sub genre of Sci-Fi and Fantasy. It really went over my head when I write it that I try not to leave things out as will. Such as Jules Verne and H.G. Wells who are the early writers of SCI-Fi. Soon I will do something on Cyberpunk as will.

Be doing more post's soon and For now keep on viewing!
