Independent Food Critic Chain place menu item Double Decker Taco

For your Taco you want Soft, Crunchy, Soft, Crunchy or both with the Double Decker Taco. This is the first Independent Food Critic Chain place menu item where I post about one thing from a chain place and fast food. This one is on the Double Decker that originated from Taco Bell. The double decker taco took both crunchy and soft shell hold together with refried beans came out in the mid 90's with the two NBA players Shaquille O'Neal and Hakeem Olajuwon in the commercial. Had been in another one with both of the NBA players with the film maker Spike lee. Had the nacho cheese Double Decker Taco had both of the NBA players holding Spike Lee upside down taking his money. The Double Decker taco was popular. Their are times I made a bit of my own with out the refried beans. Latter had the Bacon Double Decker taco for a short while. The Double Decker Taco took even a much hotter side with the Five Alarm Double Decker Taco that had a Five Alarm sauce. Shaquille O'Neal made another appearance for the commercial for it by having him going up in flams taking a slam dunk for a while the Double Taco is still on the menu at Taco Bell had not ad much or order it for a while. in 1997 another commercial for the double decker taco it had the first appearance with the Yo Quiero Taco Bell Dog. Got me back into the Double Decker taco for a while. Another fast food Mexican place Taco Johns had it's way of the Double Decker call it taco bravo. Today the double decker is still on the Taco Bell menu have it with supreme not really ad a much as it had. Taco Bell had some thing similar to the double decker taco such as in 2000 with the cheesy gordita crunch with it takes a gordita shell then a soft flour tortilla hold together with cheese instead of refried beans. Now with the Doritos Locos taco took that idea like the cheese gordita crunch as the cheesy gordita Doritas locos taco. Double Decker tacos can be found in the grocery store's to pre pare with to make at home. The double Decker Taco is the idea of getting both soft and crunchy at the same time. It well still be on the Taco Bell Menu. For now keep on eating!
